Recorded on March 31, 1996, at Zack Studio in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and released the following year on Günter Müller’s own For4Ears label, Table Chair and Hatstand brought the Swiss electroacoustic duo Voice Crack (Andy Guhl and Norbert Möslang, working with cracked everyday electronics) together with Jim O’Rourke for an hour-long improvised session.
