Robert Moog
American engineer, inventor of the Moog synthesizer.
Robert Moog (1934–2005) built theremin kits through his R.A. Moog Company in the 1950s before introducing a voltage-controlled subtractive synthesizer, played from a keyboard, in 1964 — work that gave the company its later name, Moog Music, in 1971.
