Peter Rehberg
British-Austrian musician (as Pita) and label head, joined Mego in 1995 and founded its successor Editions Mego in 2006.
Peter Rehberg (1968–2021) joined Vienna’s Mego label in 1995, releasing his own foundational glitch record Seven Tons for Free (1996) as Pita, before founding Editions Mego in 2006 to preserve and continue the label’s catalog and mission after Mego’s 2005 closure. Over four decades he became one of experimental electronic music’s most consequential label heads and performers, working solo and in collaborations including KTL with Stephen O’Malley.
