1 V/octave pitch control
The dominant control-voltage convention where each rising volt raises pitch by one octave.
A specific control-voltage convention, adopted by Moog and most subsequent manufacturers, in which each additional volt raises an oscillator’s pitch by exactly one octave — a concrete, adopted specification distinct from the general idea of control voltage itself, and notably incompatible with the competing Hz/V convention without a converter.
