Neurotten

Pain Jerk's 1996 album, a cult classic of relentless, live, no-overdub harsh noise.

Originally released in 1996 on Slaughter Productions in a hand-numbered edition of only 80 copies (packaged with a tin-foil sleeve and a curved iron rod), Neurotten is one of Pain Jerk’s most iconic works — three relentlessly aggressive tracks of harsh noise performed live with no overdubs, built from pulsating recycled transients and muffled high tones. Urashima’s 2021 vinyl reissue, limited to 299 copies, was restored and remastered from the original DAT masters by Nobuki Nishiyama.
