Released on Brain Records in 1977, Mirage found Klaus Schulze working in a darker, more textural register than the sequencer-driven momentum of albums like Timewind and Moondawn — its two side-long pieces built from synthesizer drones and layered choir-like voicings, continuing his run of solo Berlin School records through the late 1970s.
