Lexicon

American digital audio processor manufacturer, founded 1971.

Founded in 1971 and known for digital reverb and delay processors including the 224, Prime Time, and 480L, Lexicon’s sound became so associated with studio reverb that engineers spoke of “adding some Lexicon” the way one might say “Google it”; the company has been part of Harman International since 1993.
