Lexicon's 1978 digital reverberator, among the first commercially viable digital reverbs.
Designed by David Griesinger and debuting in 1978 as the first digital reverb built around a microprocessor, the Lexicon 224 offered a smoother, more natural decay than predecessors like the EMT 250 at roughly half the price, becoming a studio standard.
