Hepatopolitika
K2's 1994 album, junk-metal noise built as exhausting, jarring cut-up.
Originally released in 1994 on Praxis Dr. Bearmann in a numbered edition of only 125 copies on transparent vinyl, Hepatopolitika is one of K2’s most exhausting works — cut-up noise built from crashing, creaking, and scraping junk metal, edited in jarring, unpredictable bursts, and closing with Kimihide Kusafuka’s own manifesto: “Noise cannot be refused by either ears and heads!” Urashima reissued it on vinyl in 2019.
