Experimental Studio of Czechoslovak Radio

Electroacoustic music studio established within Czechoslovak Radio in Bratislava, 1964-65.

Composer Peter Kolman secured experimental-workplace status for a studio at Czechoslovak Radio in Bratislava in 1964, formalized in 1965 as the Experimental Studio of Czechoslovak Radio — explicitly linking up, in its own framing, with the precedents set by the studios in Cologne and Warsaw. Kolman directed it until his emigration in 1977.
