Following the original Fénix’s success, Bert Vermeulen developed the larger Fénix II — expanding from 63 potentiometers, 3 switches, and 158 banana sockets to 103 potentiometers, 9 switches, and 230 sockets — alongside a companion Fénix III sequencer. Around 75 units of each were produced beginning circa 2010.
