Synclavier Regen
Synclavier Digital's 2022 desktop synthesizer, an enhanced Synclavier II engine spanning additive, subtractive, FM, and sample-based synthesis.
Released in 2022, the Synclavier Regen is a desktop synthesizer built around an enhanced, optimized version of the original Synclavier II’s DSP engine. Each of its twelve partials per timbre can independently run as an additive oscillator (coefficient and phase control over 24 harmonics), a subtractive one (up to nine detunable sawtooths or noise, for super-saws and PCM-style square waves), or a sample-playback oscillator (up to 128 samples spread across the keyboard, or a resynthesized sample) — with frequency modulation controllable per partial across all three modes, and up to 98 voices simultaneously.
