EMS Putney

Peter Zinovieff built this studio in the back garden of his home in Putney, London, from 1965, centered on a pair of DEC PDP-8 minicomputers running his MUSYS software — years before it became the physical and commercial base, from 1969, of Electronic Music Studios (EMS), the company he co-founded with David Cockerell and Tristram Cary.
