Michael Hoenig’s only 1970s solo album, released shortly before he left Germany for Los Angeles, drew directly on his time filling in for Peter Baumann in Tangerine Dream: side-long pieces of sequenced analog synthesizer close in spirit to that group’s mid-1970s Berlin School sound, with guitar contributed by former Agitation Free bandmates Lutz Ulbrich and Michael “Micki” Duwe.
