CLAEM

Latin American composition institute at Buenos Aires's Instituto Torcuato Di Tella, founded 1962 by Alberto Ginastera.

Founded in 1962 by composer Alberto Ginastera as one of the arts centers of Buenos Aires’s Instituto Torcuato Di Tella, the Centro Latinoamericano de Altos Estudios Musicales (CLAEM) ran a scholarship program bringing young composers from across Latin America together, adding an Electronic Music Laboratory in 1963 under engineer Horacio Raúl Bozzarello.
