Bela

Ultra-low-latency embedded audio and sensor platform, built on the BeagleBone Black.

Developed from 2014 by Andrew McPherson and Victor Zappi at Queen Mary University of London (initially as “BeagleRT”), Bela pairs a custom audio/sensor cape with the BeagleBone Black single-board computer for embedded instruments, sound installations, and effects with roughly 1ms latency.
