Aaron Dilloway (b. May 13, 1976, Brighton, Michigan) founded Hanson Records in 1994 and joined Wolf Eyes in 1998, working with tape loops and shortwave radio within the group until 2005, when he left rather than continue extensive touring. Late in 2004 he moved to Nepal, recording prolifically — his own material, field recordings, and intercepted Nepalese radio broadcasts — before returning to the United States, settling in Oberlin, Ohio, in 2007. His solo catalog includes Modern Jester (2012, Hanson) and The Gag File (2017, Dais Records).
