The Studio for Advanced Research in Cybernetics (SARC)
SARC is an independent studio for the design, construction, and documentation of experimental systems — instruments, control structures, and computational processes made audible.

- Journal — dated records of SARC activity: worklogs, experiments, field notes, videos, and essays tied to a particular moment. Once published, an entry is not rewritten.
- Library — curated references and precedents that inform SARC’s work.
- Systems — living documentation of the systems built at SARC, updated as those systems change. Not yet public.
Library
The Library holds material with a concrete relationship to SARC’s research — precedents, references, instruments, documents, people, and organizations connected to specific systems and lines of work. It is curated, not comprehensive: not a discography, an encyclopedia, or a catalog of things the studio happens to find interesting.
The Library is organized into Collections, each a bounded body of material around a particular domain. An entry can belong to more than one Collection when it genuinely spans domains — and those overlaps are often where the Library is most useful.
